Jazz musicians delight in hearing the rich harmonies and
rhythms of Brazilian music and often incorporate its
distinctive sound into their original compositions and
performances. The blend is both intoxicating and unique.
In this concert, Frost Concert Jazz Band presents
Brazilian-influenced big band works by Bob Brookmeyer,
John Daversa and Bob Mintzer showcasing exquisite
ensemble moments and exciting solo breaks. Belo! Bravo!
